The barometer range of 970 ... 1050 hPa opens the possiblity of weather forecasts according to pressure changes. A high precision movement with 16 jewels makes 6 rotations of the hand with 1.000 meters ( 3.000 feet) each rotation, for accurate reading of the local altitude.
